So the other day I ran a test to see how easy it can be to get some local SEO results by testing how hard it would be to rank up high in Google for Dandenong Ranges Website Design. My guess was that with a bit of SEO know-how it wouldn’t be all that hard.
But a few days into my local seo experiment, which is what this is in geek language, I was getting annoyed because I just wasn’t seeing the pages in Google’s index.
Well – AS IF BY MAGIC! – Melbourne SEO consultant Jim Stewart totally showed me how to make The Great Goog hurry up and index one’s content this week in his video blog post. (Do people still say “vlog”?)
So I followed his advice to “fetch as Google” and then submit to the index and it appeared at position number 3 in about one minute. Sometimes I love living in the future…
Oh and the other post I wrote about all this ranked Numero uno for Local SEO Experiment which was a nice surprise.
