The First of the 5 C’s of Online Marketing is “Customers”
… or rather, potential customers – prospects – you need to know who they are, what their pain is and how what you sell cures their pain.
Your potential customers have a bleeding neck – something so vital to them that they simply must get it fixed now.
It’s not like a bit of crick in the neck, something that they kind of wish would go away but can put up with – it’s a bleeding neck! It’s got to get fixed and fast!
You may have customers already, and you may not see any distinct commonalities between them, but there probably are some. List them and create a “persona” of an “ideal customer”, a character who represents the imaginary character (or organisation) that exactly fits your business in terms of what their problem is, how you solve their problem and how attractive they are to you as a customer.
